Olmix Group participated in the annual Dairy Trade technical meeting in Chile, where Murilo Piva, Olmix’s Area Manager in South America, delivered a scientific speech on the negative effects of fungi and mycotoxins in corn silage.
The first poster presents a study demonstrating the efficacy of an algo-clay complex on decreasing mycotoxin liver toxicity on broilers. The second poster analyses the occurrence of field and storage mycotoxins in Poland from years 2013-2016.
Martin Scholten, general director of animal and marine science Wageningen University and Research (The Netherlands), visited Olmix Bréhan to give a stimulating presentation on his visions of the future for agriculture, development trends and the position of seaweed within this system for the Olmix area managers.
The company showed its algae-based natural solutions at the Booth AE-38 and hosted a technical seminar on mycotoxin risk management.
The 3rd edition of the technical seminar took place in Guangzhou, China, from the 27-28 April, 2017. This year the event shed light on the natural alternatives to reduce the use of antibiotics and the situation of the animal production in Asia.
The Olmix’s Technical Service Regional Manager was interviewed by the Spanish magazine Albéitar Portal Veterinaria during the international fair FIGAN 2017 that whas held in Zaragoza (Spain) last March.
