Mr Hervé Balusson, Olmix Group CEO & Founder, delivered a conference presentation on “The challenges for modern agriculture and seaweed”. Besides, the Olmix Animal Care division welcomed hundreds of visitors at the Stand C22 at Hall 8-9.
The Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA) was held in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) from the 20-21st March, 2017. This year’s edition highlighted the latest innovations and future perspectives for secure, sustainable and profitable food production systems.
The first day of the event, the Olmix’s Animal Care division shared the latest updates on the Olmix’s Animal Care range of products at the Stand C22 in Hall 8-9, where visitors had the chance to discuss the challenges of the animal husbandry sector, such as environmental hygiene and mycotoxin risk in the farm as well as animals’ digestive efficiency, welfare and immunity.
The second day Olmix Group went even further and took part in the conference programme of the show. Mr Hervé Balusson, Olmix Group CEO & Founder, delivered a speech entitled ‘The challenge for modern agriculture, and how seaweed can address it?’, where he showed how Olmix Group and its algae-based technology has proved to contribute to a sustainable production.
“The world must produce better and more with less to sustainably feed the planet. Algae is one of the main solutions to meet this challenge. Oceans provide all the nutrients needed for vital balance. Algae are a renewable source of nutrition and health”, Mr Hervé Balusson said.
