Olmix Group’s Human Care division Amadéite ran a booth at the Interceltic Festival of Lorient, France, to share the latest research on how seaweed can improve human health.
The Olmix Group’s Human Care division, Amadéite, placed its booth at the Interceltic Market to show the latest results and research that prove algae to be an outstanding source for food supplements. Indeed, more than 750,000 visitors discovered seaweed health benefits and their applications, as well as the Amadéite algae-based food supplements For Wellbeing.
On Tuesday, 8th August, Mr Tony da Cruz, Amadéite Food Applications Project Manager, delivered a scientific presentation at the Lorient’s Moustoir stadium entitled ‘Discovering seaweed world’, where he focused on the medicinal use of seaweed around the world since millennia and their health benefits for our modern health concerns.
“In every part of the world, seaweed has been used for millennia due to their health benefits. Our ancestors already knew about all the benefits of seaweeds. Recent research even showed the crucial role of seaweeds in human evolution and development of human brain”, he said.
Besides, Mr Da Cruz mentioned that “nowadays science can explain how and why seaweeds can benefit human health. Olmix Group has the know-how to potentiate their benefits for humans, animals and plants”.
Later on, Mr Hervé Balusson, Olmix Group CEO & Founder, shared his view on the importance of marine resources: “Marine resources are an outstanding source of compounds with benefits for health and for nutrition. Life comes from the sea, but its future will also be driven by the sea and marine resources”, he explained.
